Premiering SoulBlazing by Lisa Haisha

On November 24, 2014, Elle A Events had the pleasure of helping Lisa Haisha launch her new web series and podcast, Legacy Series with Lisa Haisha, at the Sofitel Hotel in Beverly Hills. Motivational speakers, entertainers and celebrities attended, such as special guests Larry Dunn of Earth, Wind & Fire, actress Alexis Carra of the show Mixology, composer Ralph Riekermann and award-winning Broadway actor Ben Vereen.

There was an astounding donation of $20,000 from Haisha’s Whispers of the Children’s Hearts Foundation to the non-profit “Kids in the Spotlight.” This wonderful organization helps to guide foster children through their struggles, using filmmaking to show these kids their inner strength. More information can be found on their site: KidsInTheSpotlight.org. [hyperlink]

Legacy Series showcases the life stories of unique individuals—leaders, artists or even healers.  The series tells their stories and asks them what truly motivates them in life and gives them an opportunity to share advice. We are happy to say the event was a huge success! Check out some fun pictures from the evening:

Fans Skied Like Champions!

Elle A Events created the activation for SkyTechSport in Beaver Creek, Colorado, with the company’s famous Ski Simulator. From February 2 to 15, Elle A Events and SkyTechSport helped lucky fans virtually ski courses like their favorite Olympic competitors.

The simulator was set up in the “fan zone,” which allowed for amazing press. The mountains in Beaver Creek were GPS scanned in order to create the exact likeness of the actual mountains. The two courses used were “Birds of Prey” and “Raptor,” which are some of Beaver Creek’s most famous courses.

The simulator helped garner SkyTechSport some great press, and we were able to get them featured in Sports Illustrated! You can read the article HERE. There was also great press from Denver KUSA-TV 9 News, KCNC-TV and NBC Television. This was such a great opportunity for our client and Elle A Events! This event wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing sponsors: Beaver Creek, Powershares and EverBank.

We also hosted private parties for VIP guests as well as our sponsors throughout the two-week event. We had a blast! Check out these great pictures:

Everything Floral

Flowers are definitely one of my favorite things about wedding season. With so many themes and varieties of flowers to choose from, the possibilities are endless…so I wanted to share some of my favorite ideas!

From bouquets to centerpieces, see the pictures below for some fun ideas of ways to incorporate different flowers to fit your special themed wedding.

Vintage Rustic: I love the pastel palette of these arrangements and adding pearls for that extra-special touch.

Romantic: I love the different shades of pinks used in these bouquets.

Summer: Having a wedding in June or July? These bright and vivid colors are sure to make all your guests happy. You can even incorporate some fruit, like lemons!

Fairytale: Your prince charming will love these ideas. Putting flowers under a glass dome is perfect for that fairytale feel!

In case you couldn’t make it to Lake Tahoe and ski down the mountains during the LA Auto Show weekend, SkyTechSport brought the mountains to you with their famous ski simulator! We helped represent KIA motors, and Elle A Events came up with the booth concept.

There was no limit to the participants who ventured to try the simulator, as SkyTechSport has once again proved that the ski simulator is a massive hit. People all over the event loosened their ties in order to give the simulator a try.

The event was held at the LA Convention Center on November 17-19, 2014.

Elle in Focus Magazine!

The piece, as read in Focus Magazine:

Elle A Events is a full service event coordination and design boutique based in Los Angeles, with event services nationwide. In 2011, Elle A Events was founded by Certified Meeting and Event Producer, Elle Anderson. Her eye for detail and fresh approach brings a unique touch to every single event. Elle A Events’ philosophy combines fun, artistic beauty with hard work to create the newest, freshest, and most luxurious events possible.

How did you get into event planning?
My love for events was evident at the early age of 15 when I was planning and hosting parties at my parents’ home. I have always been fascinated by the unique tastes and preferences of people, especially when they are part of a celebration or event. After attending Penn State University, I embarked on a journey to Los Angeles where I became the Director of Marketing & Promotions for a few of Hollywood’s most premier companies like the Sunset Entertainment Group. From there, I continued to build upon my event and design experience until I was able to start Elle A Events.

How would you best describe the style of your work?
It’s all about what the client needs and wants. I usually try to infuse a touch of elegance and an extreme eye for detail into every event we produce. It’s all about the details. The smallest touches can be the most appreciated part of your design. It’s amazing how the “little things” can mean so much to your client and their guests.

What separates you from the competition?
I pride myself on working with any budget to help my clients make their event, wedding, decorated space, or special occasion vision a reality. My main goal is to make sure they are able to create their “dream event” without having to lose any of the magic due to budget constraints. Whether it’s a party of 2 or a party of thousands, Elle A Events will make it personalized and unforgettable.

What are some of the most memorable events you have created?
Every event I have coordinated is unique and memorable in its own way. Being a part of someone’s wedding day is an amazing feeling. However, I once had Moby performing on the 21st floor of a building downtown to a crowd of 200, and that was probably one of the most memorable events I have done. It was a game-changer for the company.

If you could plan any kind of event, what would it be and where?
Being a part of someone’s wedding day is a big honor, and if I had my choice, I would choose a wedding. Wedding trends this year have been so much fun to work with; the open back lace dresses, flower headbands, and chair flair have made quite the statement for the season. California has many beautiful venues, but the one that has left me speechless is the Vineyard of Beverly Hills. It offers a 360 degree mesmerizing view of Los Angeles with its 153 acres, and it has the highest vantage point in the city. It’s brand new and opened in January, in time to host one of the most elite 2014 Oscar Parties. It’s a space where your imagination has no boundaries.

Weddings are embracing romanticism, with gorgeous laces and crowns of flowers. If you haven’t grabbed a wedding magazine, here’s a sneak peek of what’s in:
