Elle Anderson | CEO & FoundeR

Elle began her career in the event industry as the Event Coordinator for a few of Hollywood’s most premier promotional companies. Moving on to venue management & marketing, she worked for 5 years as Director of Marketing & Promotions for The Sunset Entertainment Group and 2 years as Director of Special Events for The Downtown Entertainment Group.

Seeking to diversify her expertise, Elle then served as a private consultant for venues across Los Angeles & Orange County as well as the Director of Catering for a special event & motion picture catering company. In addition to being a Certified Conference Management & Event Specialist, she holds her BA in Business with an emphasis in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. 

Elle has produced events for The Reelz Channel, The Silver Spoon Gifting Suites, The Oscars & The Emmy’s, premiere after parties for IFC & HBO, brand activations for TravelAlberta.com, NHL Network, Kia Motors, Digital River, Vail Valley Foundation, SkyTech Sports and private performances by Prince, Linkin Park & Moby. Elle has debuted venues at Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah with major corporate sponsors like Grey Goose & Red Bull. 

Combining both years and diversity of experience in the event industry, she decided to start her own Event Production & Design Company -- Elle A Events. 

Sydney Thompson | Executive assistant | lead coordinator

Sydney found her love for event planning when she interned in the Special Events Department at Walt Disney Studios. Being immersed in that world, she quickly discovered that the nature of this social industry allowed for both creativity as well as operating with urgency, which was perfectly suited to her personality. 

After earning her BA in Business Marketing from Long Beach State University, she managed Jump 5150, an indoor trampoline park, where she was able to tune in her skills of oversight and event coordination. 

Since joining Elle A Events, she has helped coordinate and plan a wide variety of events including two weddings for shows on TLC, a baby shower for a huge YouTube star and Nickelodeon Studios Halloween Party. Sydney finds her passion for event planning lies in helping the client find and execute their voice and vision. She believes a good coordinator understands that the client's happiness is always the most important aspect of an event and that it is a planners job to do the best to fulfill their vision, no matter how crazy an idea may sound.

Sydney's bubbly personality guarantees a fun atmosphere wherever she goes. Her previous coordination experience and her passion for planning the ultimate event makes it easy for her to jump into any job that comes her way.  Sydney is a Los Angeles native and a proud member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity.



Tim discovered his love for events back in high school with producing Battle of the Bands and spring concerts that featured local musical acts. After pursuing a degree in marketing at CSUN, he began managing hospitality and security for venues around Los Angeles. During this time, he was also regularly on the road working as a tour manager, production manager, audio engineer, lighting designer, and merchandise manager. In the last five years, Tim has transitioned his expertise into large scale event and festival production, while operating an Audie award winning recording studio. 

He has worked for venues such as The Penthouse at the Huntley Hotel, The Edison, The Highlands Nightclub, The Glendon Bar and Kitchen, and Elevate Lounge; and produced activations at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Shaky Knees Fest, The Vans Warped Tour, and more.

With a total of eight years venue management, 14 years in the touring industry, and 4 years of experiential marketing activations at festivals around the country, there isn't a problem that could arise for which Tim won't have a solution. 


Curtis Murphy has been engulfed in all facets of event marketing and branding for a wide range of major clients.  From one-off events to national traveling tours, Curtis has planned, designed, and produced highly successful events in industries from automotive (Toyota, Cadillac, Mercedes, BMW, Scion, Dodge, and Lincoln) to video game conventions (Activision/Blizzard, EA, IGN, EB Games), to cell phone companies, to professional sports leagues.

Curtis has lead event productions for Activision/Blizzard (the leading video game publisher) mainly focusing on their breadwinning titles like Call Of Duty, and Skylanders – both of which generate billions of dollars annually.

Curtis has his mind and hands dialed into many sides of marketing for different industries and has a track record of keeping under budget by way of utilizing relationships with repeat fabricators and vendors.

Curtis holds a degree in Music Business and Songwriting from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He also brings grounded morals, a friendly & fun nature, and serves as a team leader and a team player. All of these qualities culminate with Curtis’ desire to help show the world to … well, to the world.

Gregg Jacobson | Event Producer

Gregg has been involved in the hospitality and event entertainment business for over 15 years. Specializing in conceptualizing and managing the aesthetics of an event, he draws upon his experience with André Balaz and the opening of the Standard Hotels, followed by the launch of pop-up clubs, Paul & André, Smoke & Mirrors and the Standard Hotel.

Gregg has also curated events for a list of top industry clients including Diesel, Jaguar, Land Rover, Chevy Volt, Moet-Hennessy, Grey Goose Vodka, Purple Magazine, Details Magazine and Flaunt Magazine. He is passionate about ensuring guests have a great time in the most beautiful of spaces and focuses on corporate and high end events.

SARA loncka | content coordinator

Sara is a freelance copywriter who specializes in blog content, media reviews and ad copy. She supports ElleA Events by curating the website and managing the blog. In addition to writing, she has worked in education, community activism, film, fashion and hospitality. Sara knows a little something about a lot of things-- all of which helps to inform the way she sees the world. Writing is how she processes her experiences and hopes to help others do the same.

In addition to writing, she currently works in leadership development and like all freelance writers is "busy writing the next great American novel."

My name is Meg Quinn, and i’ve been working in the arts for over a decade.

My work includes people, things and places…both in print design, digital design, and photography.

I work hard at letting the subject be king or queen, using my own artistic eye to make it bigger, bolder, softer, more subtle, more powerful. Whatever the art calls for.


Vanessa Hondromihalis | Assistant

Vanessa moved to LA from Boston in 2010 as an aspiring actress. She joined the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) and started doing stand in work on multiple TV productions.  After being informed that one of the shows that she was working on wasn’t having a holiday party, she decided to coordinate one herself.  With how much fun she had planning, the success of the party, and all of the compliments being given to her from the cast and crew, she quickly realized that acting was no longer her passion.  It was event planning that really fulfilled her.

She didn’t know where to begin as all of this was new to her, so in the meantime she began working in the nightlife industry as a door girl at night clubs in Los Angeles, while also continuing to work in TV production.  This helped her to pay her bills and network, while figuring out her next steps to get into the world of events.

She met Elle Anderson back in 2014 through mutual friends. After a couple years of building a strong friendship, Elle and Vanessa realized how well they would work together. Elle brought her on to the team in October 2016. 

Since joining Elle A Events, Vanessa’s love and knowledge for event planning has grown and she feels as though she has finally found the path she was meant to take.
